The Bobcats made history with an undefeated season leading into the NCAA FCS Championships Playoffs, a defeat over the Montana Grizzlies and the Big Sky Conference Championship.
The students and faculty at Montana State University excelled in the classroom and the laboratory in 2024. MSU launched several new programs including midwifery, data science, and an academic brewing license to extend barley research.
MSU set a new annual record for research expenditures at $257 million and published research on subjects ranging from microorganisms and genetics to high-performance computing and critical technologies for national security.
In the fall, President Waded Cruzado announced her retirement after 15-years of service to MSU.
